Prologues

The thing that I hate about books like Dracula and The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde is that they have prologues.Prologues are at the beginning of the book, but they are not written like they are supposed to be at the beginning of the book. One of the things that I hate..No really hate is that they say what happens in the story. Who lives, who dies everything! Its like the story is being whipped, boiled, and quartered until its nothing but a bunch of bits that are then jumped so, in other words every twist in the story is revealed in the prologue in a mind numbing fashion. And another thing: prologues are always saying that there are these stupid symbols in a story like: "Dracula is homosexual" or "Dracula is a symbol for monopoly". Dracula is a vampire you ass!( . So anyway if you ever see someone who writes prologues( most prologues are written by college lecturers, so a college lecturer will do) tell them I hate them with an intense, burning passion.
